5 : lg Eggs; separated, at room
0: Cream shortening and butter in mixing bowl until light
1: Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; mix until fluffy
2: Stir in chocolate chips and pecans
3: Stir in mixture of dry ingredients with wooden spoon
4: Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
5: Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown
6: Cool on wire rack
