1/2 : c Honey
1 : tb Peeled and chopped fresh
0: In a small bowl, combine oats with oat bran and set aside
1: In a large bowl, beat egg with brown sugar and apple juice until creamy
2: Add milk and buttermilk, stir to blend and set aside
3: Sift flours with baking soda, salt and spices into the egg mixture
4: Stir in melted butter, then add oat mixture and stir to combine
5: Heat a griddle and spray lightly with cooking oil
6: Drop batter by slightly generous 1/8-cup measures and cook for about 2 minutes or until golden on one side
7: Flip pancakes over and cook for about 2 minutes on other side
8: Remove to a warm plate
9: Continue until all the batter is used
10: Makes about 12 cakes

14: (26%cff) Top with warm tart applesauce or other spreadable frit, or a drizzle of light syrup
15: TIP: Gentle heat the apple juice just enough to dissolve 1 packed tablespoon of light brown sugar
