Ingredients

1/4 : c Butter or margarine

2/3 : c All-purpose flour

1/2 : Bay leaf

1 : ts Salt

1/3 : c Freshly grated Parmesan

2 : ts Minced garlic

1/2 : ts Cinnamon

1 : pn Ground red pepper

1 : lb Lean ground beef

1/2 : ts Dried mint flakes

1/2 : ts Freshly ground pepper

1/4 : c Tomato paste

1 : cn (28-oz) tomatoes

1/3 : c Fresh flat-leaf parsley;

-chopped : -chopped

1 : pk (6-oz) ziti pasta; cook

Directions

0: ALL-SEASON BREAD Apple Bread: Shred two peeled, cored apples to make 2 cups

1: Carrot Bread: Peel and shred 2 carrots to make 2 cups

2: Stir in 1 T

3: reserved pineapple juice

4: Sweet Potato Bread: Peel and shred 1 sweet potato to make 2 cups

5: Stir in 1 T

6: of reserved pineapple juice

7: Zucchini Bread: Shred 2 zucchini to make 2 cups

8: Combine first six ingredients and set aside

9: Beat eggs and add next 3 ingredients

10: Beat until creamy

11: Drain pineapple and reserve 1 T

12: if called for

13: Stir in pineapple and prepared fruit or vegetable

14: Stir in dry ingredients just until moistened

15: Spoon into 2 greased and floured 5x3 loaf pans

16: Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean

17: Cool 10 minutes before removing

18: Other pans: Two 6-cup Bundt pans take 45 minutes

19: Two shortening cans take 1 hour and 15 minutes

20: Two 7x3-1/2x2 pans take 45 to 50 minutes

21: Eight 4-1/2x2-1/2x1-1/2 pans take about 30 to 35 minutes
