1/3 : c Slivered almonds

1/3 : c Amaretto

1 : tb Brown sugar

1 : qt Vanilla ice cream; softened

2 : Scoops vanilla ice cream

3/4 : oz Amaretto

1 : Maraschino cherry

12 : sl French bread

1 : sm Vanilla pudding

1 : c Milk

8 : oz Cool whip

1 : c Sour cream

1/4 : c Ammaretto

Fresh : Fresh fruit chunks or whole

Directions

0: Mix dry ingredients

1: Cut in 2 T

2: lard until crumbly

3: Add water & mix until a soft dough forms

4: Knead until dough is smooth & springy in texture

5: Make into 12 balls

6: Melt 1 Tbls

7: lard & brush on each ball of dough

8: Set aside for 30-45 minutes

9: On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball to a 4" circle, then stretch to 7-8" in diameter

10: Poke hole in center

11: Fry in oil at 365 degrees until lightly browned, turning once

12: Serve with butter, honey or jam, or use as the bottom layer of an Indian taco
