0: Dissolve yeast in water
1: Into a bowl, sift flour with other dry ingredients
2: Cut in shortening, add buttermilk, then add yeast mixture
3: Stir until all flour is dampened
4: Knead on floured board a minute, roll to desired thickness, and cut with a biscuit cutter
5: Bake at 400 degrees about 12 minutes
6: Dough may be kept refrigerated and used about a week
