3 : 1/ c All-purpose flour; divided
1 : tb Baking powder
1/2 : ts Salt
3/4 : ts Ground nutmeg
1/4 : ts Ground cloves
1 : c Applesauce
3/4 : c Sugar
2 : Eggs
2 : tb Vegetable shortening
Vegetale : Vegetale oil
0: Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg
1: Stir in oats and brown sugar
2: Beat eggs
3: Blend eggs, oil and applesauce together
4: Stir in dry ingredients, raisins and nuts
5: Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan
6: Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
