1/3 : c Vegetable oil
1 : /2 c Mashed ripe bananas ( 3 )
1/2 : ts Vanilla
3 : Eggs
2 : 1/3 c Bisquick baking mix
1 : c Sugar
1/2 : c Chopped nuts (optional)
0: Dissolve yeast in warm water
1: Stir in bananas, 1/4 cup sugar, salt, egg, butter and 1-3/4 cups of the flour
2: Beat until smooth
3: Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle
4: Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic (about 5 minutes)
5: Place in greased bowl; turn greased side up
6: Cover; let rise in warm place until double, about 1-1/2 hours
7: Grease well 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan
8: Punch down dough
9: Roll into rectangle, 16 x 8 inch
10: Mix 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the rectangle of dough
11: Roll dough up tightly, beginning at narrow side
12: Pinch edge of dough into roll to seal well
13: Place seam side down in pan
14: Cover; let rise until double(about 1 hour)
15: Heat oven to 375 degrees
16: Bake until golden, about 35 minutes
17: Remove from pan, and brush top with butter
18: If desired, can be frosted with a confectioners' sugar glaze
