1/3 : c Vegetable oil
1 : /2 c Mashed ripe bananas ( 3 )
1/2 : ts Vanilla
3 : Eggs
2 : 1/3 c Bisquick baking mix
1 : c Sugar
1/2 : c Chopped nuts (optional)
1: Stir until the yeast has dissolved
2: Beat the egg into the yeast mixture, and set aside
3: Sift together the flour, sugar, and salt
4: Add the yeast mixture
5: Knead until the mix forms a ball- if too moist add a bit more flour
0: For the dough: Put the water in a mixing bowl and sprinkle the yeast over it
6: Knead 10 minutes more
7: Roll out to an 11" square
8: Spread 1/2 cup butter over the surface of the dough
9: Fold the dough into thirds and wrap in a damp cloth
10: Refrigerate 20 minutes
11: Repeat this process beginning from rolling out the dough, two more times
12: While the dough is in the refrigerator the last time, you should prepare the fillings, icings or other recipes you will need for the finished pastries
