Directions

0: Sift flour

1: Then sift again with sugar, baking powder, and salt

2: Cut butter into dry ingredients

3: Bet the milk and eggs together

4: Stir into dry ingredients and blend thoroughly

5: Turn out on a floured board and knead half a dozen times

6: Roll dough out to 1/2 " thickness

7: Cut into 2-inch round

8: Preheat frying pan but do not greast

9: Place scones on pan surface and heat for ten minutes

10: Turn and heat for another 10 minutes

11: This hot bread can be baked on a flat surface over an open fire
