Ingredients

1 : oz 6 can tomatoes -- sliced

1 : cn (6 oz) red kidney beans*

1 : cn (8oz) tomato sauce

1 : tb Chili powder

1 : ts Dried basil

1/4 : ts Salt

1/4 : ts Red pepper(grd)

1/4 : c Toasted cumin seed; ground

2 : tb Toasted coriander seed;

2 : tb Paprika

1 : tb Toasted teicherry black

Directions

0: Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy

1: Grate peel from lemon and add to creamed mixture

2: Squeeze juice from lemon and set aside

3: Add eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and milk to creamed mixture and blend well

4: Stir in nuts

5:  Turn batter into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees one hour

6: Combine lemon juice and confectioners' sugar and mix well

7: Pour over hot loaf and allow syrup to sink into bread

8: Turn loaf out onto a rack and cool
