1/2 : c Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1 : Large Egg
1/2 : c Unbleached Flour
1 : ts Baking Powder
1/3 : c Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 : c Margarine Softened
1 : ts Vanilla
1/2 : c Rolled Oats
1/4 : ts Salt
1/4 : c Chopped Nuts
1 : /3 c Flour
2 : ts Vanilla
1 : pk (large) chocolate bits
1 : ts Baking powder
1 : ts Salt
1 : /3 c Sugar
1/2 : c Cooking oil
4 : Eggs
0: Beat together the oil, sugar, and egg
1: Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to blend well
2: Let stand for 10 minutes
3: Drop by spoonfuls, about 1 inch apart, onto a lightly oiled baking sheet
4: Bake for about 8 minutes at about 375 F

6: They did not need to bake as long as 12-15 min
