0: Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt; stir well
1: Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal
2: Sprinkle milk evenly over flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened
3: Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 10 to 12 times
4: Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter
5: Place biscuits on greased baking sheets
