Directions

0: Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt and baking powder

1: Cut in shortening

2: Add milk to form soft dough

3: Turn onto lightly floured board

4: Pat into sheet 1/2 inch thick

5: Knead lightly

6: Spread 1/2 of dough with melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, and raisins

7: Fold dough 1/2 over

8: Cut with floured cutter

9: Place on un-oiled baking sheet

10: Bake in hot oven (450ø F) about 10 minutes
