Ingredients

1 : tb Plus /4 cup water

1/4 : c Light corn syrup

2 : tb Butter

1 : ts Vanilla extract

2 : tb Peanut butter

1 : ds Salt

3 : c Powdered sugar

35 : Unwrapped Kraft caramels

1 : c (or two 3.5 ounce packages)

Directions

0: * About 3 - 4 large, they can be overrippened and black

1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2: Chop walnuts in blender (remove nuts from blender and set aside)

3: Cut bananas into pieces; puree in blender jar

4: With electric mixer, cream sugar & shortening at medium speed

5: Add eggs to creamed mixture and beat until light and fluffy

6: Add puree banana mixture to above

7: Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk

8: Mix thoroughly

9: Fold in nuts

10: Pour into greased and floured tube pan (can be made in loaf bread pan's also)

11: Bake 60 - 70 minutes or until btread tests done with a cake tester

12: Cool in pan on wire rack for 1 hour, remove from pan to serving dish
