2 : c Flour
2 : Tb brandy
1 : c Sugar
1/2 : ts Salt
1/2 : lb Butter or margerine
1 : ts Baking powder
3 : Eggs
2 : To 3lb hrtnng .milk
Powdered : Powdered sugar
1 : md Yellow squash, diced
4 : Shallots, with tops, chopped
1 : qt Water
2 : tb Maple syrup
5 : sl Cucumber (1/2" thick)
1 : tb Salt
1/4 : ts Black pepper
0: Recipe by: McDougall Combine all dry ingredients, fruits and nuts in a large bowl
1: In another bowl, mix the honey, hot water and vanilla
2: Add to dry ingredients and mix well
3: Spread a 1/2 inch layer on baking dished and bake in a 250 degree oven for one hour, stirring occasionally
4: Remove from oven, let cool
5: Store in covered containers
6: HELPFUL HINTS: Nuts may be omitted, use more wheat or rye flakes
7: Other dried fruits may be substituted for ones suggested
8: Be sure to stir every 20 minutes or so to keep the granola from sticking or burning
