Ingredients

36 : sl Party rye or pumpernickel

-bread : -bread

6 : oz Monterey jack cheese

Directions

0: Cream butter and sugar

1: Add eggs, beat well

2: Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with the buttermilk

3: Fold in walnuts, dates and orange rind

4: Pour into two 8 1/2 inch greased and floured pans and bake at 350F

5: degrees for about an hour

6: Comb NOTES: Can be made ahead and frozen
