2 : c Flour
1/4 : ts Salt
1 : c Soft butter
1 : c Sugar
1 : tb Grated orange peel
5 : Eggs, room temperature
0: Makes 4 dozen Dough: For dough: Crumble yeast into large bowl
1: Stir in water an dsugar
2: Let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes
3: Stir shortening, egg and salt into yeast mixture
4: Add flour 1/4 cup at a time, stirring until mixture is smooth
5: Grease bowl
6: Add dough, turning to coat entire surgace
7: Cover and let rise in warm draft-free area until doubled in volume, about 1 1/2 hours
8: For filling: Beat margarine and sugar to blend well
9: Stir in orange peel
10: To assemble: Roll dough out on generously floured surface to thickness of 3/16 inch
11: Spread filling evenly over dough
12: Roll dough up into cylinder, as for jelly roll
13: Cut into 1 1/2 inch-thick slices
14: Set each slice in paper muffin liner
15: Arrange on baking sheet
16: Cover with towel and let rise in warm draft-free area 30 minutes
17: Preheat oven to 400 F
18: Bake rolls until lightly browned on top, about 12 minutes
