1 : qt Milk
1 : pt Heavy cream
1/2 : ts Salt
1 : Vanilla bean
3/4 : c Long-grained rice
1 : c Granulated sugar
1 : Egg yolk
1 : /2 c Whipped cream
Raisins : Raisins (optional)
10: About 5 dozen cookies
0: Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
1: Stir together flour, baking soda and salt
2: In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy
3: Add eggs; beat well
4: Gradually add flour mixture, beating well
5: Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired
6: Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
7: Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned
8: Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack
9: Cool completely
