Directions

0: In small bowl combine flour, baking soda & salt; set aside

1: In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar & vanilla, beating until creamy

2: Beat in eggs

3: Gradually add flour mixture & mix well

4: Stir in chocolate chips

5: Divide dough in half & wrap both halves separately in waxed paper

6: Chill 1 hour or until firm

7: On waxed paper, shape each dough half into a 12-inch log

8: Roll up in waxed paper & refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze up to 8 weeks

9: To bake, preaheat oven to 375

10: Cut each chilled log into twelve 1-inch slices

11: Cut each slice into 4 quarters

12: Place on ungreased cookie sheet

13: Bake 8-10 minutes
