1/2 : c Unsalted butter, softened
1 : c Packed brown sugar
2 : Eggs
2/3 : c Sour cream
1 : /2 ts Vanilla
2 : 1/4 c All-purpose flour
1 : ts Baking powder
1/2 : ts Baking soda
1/2 : ts Salt
6 : oz White chocolate, coarse chop
1 : c Dried cherries,
-or : -or cranberries
1 : c Pecans, chopped
0: Dissolve yeast in 2/3 c water while your milk is cooling
1: Dissolve 1 cup sugar in the hot milk
2: Stir all ingredients in large bowl, turn out and knead about 5 minutes, adding flour if needed
3: Knead about 5 minutes
4: Let rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours
5: Knead down and shape into 6 loaves, let rise until doubled in pans
6: Bake at 375 degrees F
7: for 40 minutes
8: Turn out on wire rack and let cool to cold before slicing, if you can
9: NOTE: Raisins and/or walnuts can be added for a change
10: Also this bread freezes well
