1/2 : ts Dried mint flakes

1/2 : ts Freshly ground pepper

1 : cn (28-oz) tomatoes

1/3 : c Fresh flat-leaf parsley;

1 : pk (6-oz) ziti pasta; cook

Directions

0: In large bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugars Beat in egg and vanilla

1: Combine flour, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture, mixing well

2: Stir in chocolate chips and nuts

3: Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2" apart, onto greased baking sheets

4: Bake in 350'F

5: oven 8-10 minutes, just until edges are golden (centers will still be soft)

6: Remove to wire racks to cool

7: Makes about 3 dozen cookies
