Directions

0: Preheat oven to 425°F

1: In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda

2: Cut in butter or margarine with pastry cutter or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs

3: Add raisins

4: In a separate bowl combine apple butter and egg

5: Add flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened

6: Spray 2 1/2 inch muffin tins with vegetable cooking spray

7: Fill almost full with batter

8: Bake at 425°F for 14 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned

9: Cool slightly

10: Serve warm with additional apple butter
