25 : Mixed grain sandwich bread
25 : Bacon cut in halves
10 : Bacon slices
20 : lg Sea scallops
1 : c Whipping cream
2 : tb Dijon mustard
2 : tb Pure maple syrup
Snipped : Snipped fresh chives
0: Preheat oven to 425F degrees
1: Grease 2 cookie sheets or coat with vegetable cooking spray
2: Mix cornmeal and salt in a bowl and pour in boiling water, stirring all the while to keep lumps from forming
3: Stir in margarine
4: Drop 1 tablespoon at the time onto the cookie sheets
5: This batter should be liquid enough to spread out into a 3-inch circle
6: If it doesn't spread, add a bit more water
7: Bake until golden brown around the edges and crispy, about 20 minutes
8: Serve with sweet butter
