Breadsticks (Plain or Seeded) recipe

Ingredients

1 : c Boiling water

1 : 6 oz can vegit baked beans

1 : c Raisins

3 : c Unbleached flour

1 : Egg

1 : ts Baking soda

3 : Egg whites

1/2 : ts Baking powder

1/2 : c Canola oil

1 : ts Cinnamon

1/2 : c Buttermilk

1/4 : ts Salt

1 : ts Vanilla

1/2 : c Chopped toasted walnuts

1 : /2 c Sugar

Directions

0: Combine the water, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl and let work till foamy, abt

14: When proof is complete, punch dough down and knead in seeds if desired

15: Cover in bowl with plastic and let rest for 10 to 15 min

16: Turn out onto lightly floured working surface and divide into 32 pcs

18: Roll one at a time to form rope about 7 or 8" long (they'll be very thin)

19: Place on lightly greased baking sheets and proof once more until doubled

20: Preheat oven to 325 F

21: Bake on shelf in center of oven untill stick are nicely browned all over
