Foccacia (Italian Herb Bread) recipe

Ingredients

1 : c Vanilla wafer crumbs

3/4 : c Soft butter

2 : c Confectioners sugar

2 : Egg yolks

2 : Egg whites

1 : cn (9-oz) crushed pineapple;

-drained : -drained

1/2 : c Pecans or walnuts; chopped

Cherries : Cherries

1 : sm Onion; grated

1 : ts Cooking oil

1/2 : lb Ground beef, lean

1 : ts Salt

1 : ts Cumin

1 : Garlic clove; minced

1/4 : ts Hot sauce; to 1/2 ts.

18 : Tortillas; fresh

2 : c Cheese; shredded

Directions

0: Place dough ingredients in dough pan, select Dough setting, and press Start

1: When dough has risen long enough, the machine will beep

2: Turn off bread machine, remove bread pan, and turn out dough onto a floured countertop or cutting board

3: Oil a 12 or 14 inch pizza pan

4: With your hands, gently stretch and press dough to fit evenly into pan

5: Cover and let rise in warm oven 30 to 40 minutes until doubled

6: (Hint: To warm oven slightly, turn oven on Warm setting for 2 minutes, then turn it off, and place covered dough in oven to rise

7: Remove pan from oven to preheat

8: ) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

9: With 2 fingers, poke holes all over the dough

10: In a medium bowl, combine the oil and garlic; drizzle over top of dough

11: Sprinkle with cheese and parsley

12: Bake 25 to 30 minutes until brown

13: Remove from oven

14: Cool on wire rack or cut into squares and serve warm

15: Wrapped in plastic, it will keep fresh at room temperature for 2 to 3 days
