1/4 : ts Salt
1 : c Vegetable shortening
3/4 : c Sugar
1 : c Light molasses
1 : lg Egg
About : About 14 yards 1/4 or 1/8
-inch-wide : -inch-wide red ribbon (opt.)
1 : c Melted solid Crisco
1 : c Granulated sugar
1 : c Light or dark Karo
2 : x Large eggs
5 : 3/4 c Flour
1 : ts Baking soda
1 : ts Salt
2 : ts Ginger
2 : ts Cinnamon
1 : ts Cloves
1 : ts Nutmeg
0: Combine sugar, orange juice, in a bowl
1: Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits
2: Make a hole in the center of each biscuit
3: Fry biscuit in hot shortening or oil until golden brown
4: Turn once
5: Drain
6: While hot, drop into glaze and turn once
