Holland Gouda Pinwheels recipe

Ingredients

1 : c Fresh pearl onions

1/3 : c Olive oil

2 : tb Balsamic vinegar

1 : tb TABASCO pepper sauce

1 : tb Dried basil leaves

2 : lg Cloves garlic; crushed

1 : ts Salt

1 : lb Chicken breasts; skinless,

-boneless : -boneless

1 : lb Boneless beef sirloin

2 : lg Red peppers; cored, seeded,

-and : -and cut into 3/4-inch

-pieces : -pieces

1 : lg Green pepper; cored, seeded

-and : -and cut into 3/4-inch

-pieces : -pieces

1 : lg Zucchini; cut into 3/4 inch

-pieces : -pieces

Directions

0: Sift together dry ingredients

1: Cut in the butter

2: Stir in milk with a fork

3: Turn dough onto a floured board and knead for 15 to 20 seconds

4: Roll out dough into an oblong about 1/4 inch thick

5: Mix together filling ingredients and spread over the dough

6: Roll up jelly roll fashion

7: Cut into 3/4 inch slices and place 2 1/2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet

8: Bake at 375 F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown

9: Makes about 16 to 20 pinwheels

10: Serve with coffee for breakfast, with soup for lunch or dinner or on their own as a light snack
