Onion and Potato Bread recipe

Ingredients

Directions

0: Put yeast, lukewarm water and 3 tablespoon flour in mixing bowl and let stand for 30 minutes

1: In large bowl put onion puree, potato puree, salt, and water

2: Add yeast, 7 cups flour, and caraway seeds

3: Beat well, mixing and adding flour until dough is no longer sticky

4: Turn out on floured board and knead until dough is smooth and elastic

5: Put dough into greased bowl and cover

6: Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk

7: Punch down and shape into 3 round loaves

8: Put loaves into greased 10 inch round pans to rise

9: Cover and let rise almost doubled

10: Preheat oven to 400°

11: Brush tops of bread with water and bake for 1 hour until crusty

12: Cool on racks

13: NOTES : Yummy, Yummy! Makes 3 loaves

14: Try this with Cheese or Potato Soup
