Ingredients

1 : tb Paprika

1 : tb Ground black pepper

1 : tb Salt

1 : ts Garlic powder

1 : c Prepared yellow mustard

1 : c Packed brown sugar

1/2 : c White vinegar

6 : Granny Smith apples, cored,

-peeled, : -peeled, and sliced thin (up

-to : -to 8)

1 : tb Lemon juice

1/2 : c Granulated sugar

1/4 : c Brown sugar, packed

1 : ts Cinnamon

1/4 : ts Nutmeg

3 : tb Flour

Directions

0: Scald the milk in a saucepan

1: Cool slightly

2: Stir in the sugar, yeast and butter

3: Cool

4: Add the yeast to the warm water in a second bowl

5: Stir until the yeast is dissolved

6: Add the cooled milk

7: Stir

8: Stir in half the flour

9: Beat until smooth

10: Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough

11: Turn the dough out onto a well floured board

12: Knead until smooth and elastic (10 minutes or longer)

13: Place in a greased bowl

14: Turn to grease the top

15: Let rise until doubled in bulk

16: Punch the dough down

17: Let rest for 10 minutes

18: Divide the dough into loaves

19: Shape each into a ball

20: Set each ball on a greased baking sheet

21: Let rise until doubled in bulk

22: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

23: Bake until the loaves sound hollow when tapped on the bottom (about 20 minutes)
