Simple One-Loaf Barley Bread recipe

Ingredients

2 : tb Butter

2 : tb Chopped onion

2 : tb Chopped leek

2 : Minced garlic cloves

Salt : Salt & pepper

Hot : Hot sauce

2 : tb Chopped pecans

1/2 : lb Shrimp meat

PUFF : PUFF PASTRY

1 : c Sour cream

1 : Beaten egg

Directions

0: Mix first five ingredients together and let stand 10 minutes

1: Stir down and let stand 15 minutes

2: Add oil and flour

3: Knead for 3 minutes

4: Shape into a loaf

5: Let rise in pan until double in size

6: Bake at 350 F

7: for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

8: This bread is somewhat flat, but it is very tasty
